Back on the Path

I got useful feedback on my cover letter from my friend. I reworked the letter and even came up with a better title: Bring It!--My Human Self to the Classroom. Today for the first time in ages, I worked on Bring It!, finishing the coloring I'd started for the fourth page. This might be the closest I can get to an overcast lighting. The grass needs some toning down, I think.
On another note, my grandson Zeke drew a picture recently of an Alien War. I just love his drawings! I heard that he actually acted out the entire melée while drawing! I notice his new bow and arrow, a Christmas present, made it into this piece.

First Step

Yay! I finished my cover letter. My live-in editor Susan will read it over and give me feedback. After that, I'll send it to my friend who works in publishing. She'll also give me feedback before I actually submit it to PM Press. The damnedest thing was trying to come up with a title for the teaching graphic novel! Anyway, I've decided to call it Teaching Wide: Reflections on Classroom Management. Kind of a dull title, but I'm open to changing it.

Happy

Am really enjoying writing this cover letter for PM Press! Tonight I wrote about my audience. I'm so excited!

Submission

It's been a long while since I'd posted. I've been busy processing and spinning alpaca for our friends at Puerta Del Sol. Starting tomorrow, I begin spinning solely for me. The other good news is that I'm preparing to submit my teaching graphic novel (for which I need a title) to PM Press. My plan is to finish the introductory letter by Sunday.

Open-ended

Aah...I have a string of days, three to be exact, of open-ended days. I can fill them with whatever I want! So, important to have days like this; they are vital for creation!

Circus in Orange

I'm not quite sure where the time went! Oh, yeah--Thanksgiving! Today I actually finished the second and third pages! Maybe I'm getting quicker with the coloring. It helps that the third page was a close-up.

This is a picture of one of the first drawings I made. A circus scene in orange of all colors! I remember seeing a circus come through town, but I may have imagined the whole thing since my family was living on a military base at the time!
