Today was my last day in my classroom. I successfully cleared all my junk out. Shared heartfelt farewells with fellow teachers. I couldn't quite believe that I was leaving this great school forever. Had to stop and take a picture:
To celebrate, Susan and I went to Off the Grid and ordered decadent and greasy food. A burger from the Bacon truck and the best tater tots ever!
Dang--I was there last evening at OTG too, but I missed you two! So nice to see what you're doing with your life after MX--thanks for sharing with us via the blog! Cheers and Congratulations again! Mark T.

DeleteOh--I'm late back to the conversation! I took a close look at the sandwich my friend Paul got at Drewski's: pulled pork with mac' & cheese on the grilled cheese sandwich (with rosemary garlic tater tots! He even shared some with me--very decadent!) I instead settled on the more prosaic tacos; one pork, one fish, one shrimp and they were quite tasty! What did you all have? They need berbere' somewhere there don't they?? ;-)
DeleteYes! Definitely berbere! How come there's no Eritrean or Ethiopian taco trucks? Susan had a pulled pork sandwich, and we shared two orders of the tater tots. I had a burger from the Garlic truck--YUM!
